_{When I ask myself how I want to be understood as a designer, I think about that transition from periwinkle blue to soft pinks and yellows when the sun rises. To me, the sun is a reminder that,}

_{“everything will be okay. And so will I.”}

_{I want to share this feeling in everything I do. The sun feels like trust in a friend. Like safety in family. Like home. Maybe that’s why I always wanted to be a star when I was a kid. Perhaps I always was one.

There is something beautiful in sharing space with people who understand what it takes to maintain the integrity of what shaped you while being creative in a world not made for you. Having the oportunity to work alongside other Black, queer people across the globe deeply excites me.

California will always be home; however, I am eager to explore my love for art direction, fashion, dance, and film beyond the states in locations such as London, Paris, and Seoul.
